At first glance it looked like pricey poo-poo, but once I saw the inside, made sense. Gonna ask my back doc about that sleep girdle this coming Tuesday. The one I got is similar, but goes from the bottom of my rib cage, down to the top of the pelvis :P The back is a fixed piece of plastic, but the rubber non slip bits of the one you're getting... might just staple a few to mine, to keep it in place.

Other than one disc above the bad spot popping like a cracked knuckle (painlessly), my back's been pretty good in bed.... so far. Once that protruded crap got cut out, it's been amazing! Still swollen and settling in though.

I don't eat take-away. Ever! It's either home cooked or restaurants for me. I enjoy quality food, not junk crap. The only 'fast food' I eat is Subway since it's healthy and always fresh.
As you say, I avoided posting on the BBS in my early years. I looked occasionally but never posted. My first BBS post was on Australia Day, January 26th, 2009. 6 years, 1 month and 10 days after I signed up. It just never appealed to me and what I did see in those early days was even more tragic than most of the current stuff, hence my preference to withhold posting.

Sucks there seems to be no record of the old BBS (2003 or 2004 to today only), but I had the same impression: blood, toil and tears aplenty. But good gravy, some of that was like literary gold, funniest shit I ever read!

You eat at restaurants alone? Now that I have magazine subscription to Wired, I may consider doing that one I get my contact lenses ordered... Ma always sat me in front of the TV with dinner when I got home from school, since she worked 2nd/3rd shift. Kinda ingrained in me to either read or watch a tube while eating. Fast food here is vile, so I usually get Chinese or Italian, since the new deli owners are rather stingy with portions :\

BTW, had re-fried sick last night (tacos); came out perfect and the cats were happy of the drippings.

Say (previously speaking of bad backs), you ever sit in one of those weird chairs, the kind that has a seat that's bent forward, and has a pad for the front of your shins? You kinda have to shimmy into it from the side, but it's awesome at keeping the spine aligned. I take it you use your computer at a desk most of the time...

I'll purchase the Supporter thing when NG fixes the Portal and IP blocks all the twats that blindly vote 5 on everything and ruin this once great website. As for Adverts, I don't see them anyway so that's no big deal. And I guess you mean the Ergonomic Chairs which I have tried. They are great for short periods of time but I found them rather annoying if you're sitting in one for too long. Yes, I have a nice, big, comfortable chair.

It's funny, just today, all the major internet providers here in the US, told all of us plebs that if they notice us downloading copyrighted works, they'll send a few notices, and then..... blam!!

But you're onto something about those vote spammers. Maybe one of the admins could set up an app to catch them. But then what? Send them a PM they have to respond to? I think I blammed almost half the movies I saw today. Thank glob there are still some pleasant surprises to the content here though!

ISP's have been saying that for years. Maybe now they are going to get serious about illegal downloading.
I waste 20 votes a day (at least) by voting '0' on shitty flashes but I have morals and ethics and even though I know my '0' vote is going to be wasted, I still am not going to become corrupted by peer pressure. It just annoys me when these twats say how much they love Newgrounds but they are in fact the ones ruining it by blindly voting '5' on everything in the Portal and completely ruining what used to be great. What's even more annoying is that the Admins are seemingly doing nothing to combat the people who are abusing the system. It's more than a little disappointing.

1. It seems the Flash in question has already been removed but in saying that bagata seems to submit nothing but stuff easily downloadable from share sites and quite obviously stolen.

2. I thought recently about removing golfinho from the list because (you're right) he has been pretty good recently. In the beginning though, he was one of the worst of the lot. I might remove him soon if he stays clean.

You getting any weirder than normal nerve pains/needles/tingling? Had a few in my fingers at different points and other odd areas, as well as nasty leg cramps, though the latter would be from disuse I'm guessing.

I have pins and needles type tingling in my right leg from time to time, also borderline numbness. Never in my arms/hands/fingers though. The brace is all good so far and no, not bondage tight but tight enough that it's useful.

No we have big festivals at this time of year in Adelaide. Fringe Festival, Womadelaide not to mention the Clipsal 500 V8 Supercar race and you can only get a daily busking license instead of a monthly license. And with the extra ??? thousands of people in town it means there's nowhere to park (not even handicapped parking) and people are spending all their cash on everything besides Buskers, so it's just not worth it. We should be going in (fingers crossed) next weekend Friday and Saturday night though to get some new stuff done.

On the West coast (California) in years past, Dead-heads were notorious for clogging roads, camping on peoples lawns, stealing firewood... A few years after Jerry died, they seemed to migrate towards Phish, which, ironically, has the most straight-laced, anal precision... studio musicians! The real hard core ones are still vegans and stink of lentil and patchouli oil :)
There's Wom in your town? Wat Womadelaide?
Any nitrous on the V8's? That and the other smells can linger in your sinuses for days, oh how I relished them!

Well the Fringe Festival is a month long festival with all kinds of acts Music, Comedy, etc but WomAdelaide is just a music festival that runs for about 10 days. It's mostly foreign acts and a lot of female acts as the name might suggest. They have some awesome African bands come over. A couple of years ago Ladysmith Black Mambazo came and they were freaking amazing.
The V8 Supercars haven't really interested me in the last few years since it has been basically a Ford vs Holden racing series but this year they introduced Nissan and Mercedes into the series so now I'm very interested. I'm a huge Nissan Fan. Unfortunately I couldn't go this year for health reasons but my daughter and her partner went (they go every year) and they said it was better than ever. I will definitely be going to all future races as long as my health is good. (No nitrous, just 600HP beasts). I have a shit load of pics from last years race if your interested. If so PM me your email and I shall send you a load of pics. I'm sure you would enjoy them.
