I promised someone quite some time ago that I would post a piccy of my Plushie Collection. This is about 1/5th of it, basically all the stuff I had laying around the house. The rest of them are in storage and I couldn't be fucked getting them out of storage just to take one picture and then put them back in storage. Plus it took me about an hour to set them all up, so I'll be fucked if I'm going to do that again. Enjoy! For the full size picture see here.

I'm glad there's still work in the mines... even I've heard of the modest fortunes miners can make. I think that's the way America used to be, before I was born.
It constantly reminds me of an interview of a Philly resident had given to a newspaper reporter during the Revolution.. he said he wouldn't stand for his workers or family, to cast his eyes down, upon the approach of a wealthier man. Yet that's what we do here now! Even worse, we idolize the super-rich, thinking their way of life is worth living up to.

Well the sound/acoustics in here are amazing because of the open plan layout of the house. We're gonna use the big Amp this time too not the little one we've used in the other clips. Should sound awesome. Wouldn't be surprised if we broke a window or two. Been here 6 months, met one of the neighbours a few times, (he's a renter), quite a nice guy but he's moving out in the next few weeks. He managed to get a nice job up in the mines, haven't met the back neighbours yet, they are very quite people, rarely even see them.

Walt was a damn fine bloke, and he had a killer pencil mustache... Did they have 90 or 2 hr. weekend Disney specials (variety shows based on themes), back in the day, where Walt would either be on scene or in a easy chair beside a fire, to introduce the weekly special?
He stopped doing that sometime in the 1970's over here. After he passed away, animation got outsourced and over commercialized, then they used to capital to buy TV stations....
I do remember the old Walt Disney specials. Not that I watched a lot of them. I don't think Disney will lose it's appeal any time soon though. They still produce some great stuff.

You make a good case for the ol' Portal, and I couldn't agree more. I only to go the other page, when the purple over-runs the 'Classic' Portal. It's laid out perfectly, and has gobs of data! The search function isn't even on all the pages yet (lousy as it has been)...
If I don't survive this, make sure the media knows where I was going to/coming from, so NG gets a little more exposure.

@mandog I'm not that helpful either. You can see how badly at http://www.wkrconcepts.com/nglogs/index.php, but I try and do 10 a day. It's easier doing them at night, just so I can go back and vote on what I just watched, after midnight. Only have time for movies, and whatever games pop up on my fav list. I made some quick connections to Emrox and a few other folks who think as we do... maybe we can bum rush Tom, get him to push some changes onto the staff/stats/architecture.
I'm sure they have an agenda of what to fix and when to fix it but the Portal doesn't seem to be high on the list of fixes unfortunately. It's disappointing since the Portal is the core and crux of this site and it's seems to be the least likely to be fixed. And the way I see it (like any good business person will tell you), if you maintain the integrity of the core of your site/business/whatever then your site/business/whatever will survive no matter how many diversions or distractions or side paths you may take, the core is always there to keep things moving forward in a positive way. Put simply, "if you don't water the tree itself, the branches and the leaves won't grow".

An easy fix would be to bring back more data on how you vote, then have it on your stats page, for all the world to see (not that the stat page is anywhere near a user's main page....)
Maybe it's time to include this blam-save ratio in BBS posts. Every other fix I can think of, would tip the scales and fuck something up.
There's many ways to go about fixing it, problem is where to start. Not just sit back and watch it degrade the way it is.

So all that sounds great, and since we're not dealing with under 30 y/o humans, the bugs will be worked out, and mirth and glory will follow :)
The farmhouse where I'm at now (and largely always have been) is jumping with relatives. The great metal, trash and wood upchucking, is underway. Farm is to be sold, after my mom and pop's hoarded shit gets o.u.t., the same way it came in.
It wasn't an emotional issue for me, till my bro and sis made it one :P I've been alone here for 3 months will no mandate to do anything, then, all of the sudden, the California 'Seagull Management' crew swoops in.... very touch and go.

Sorry I haven't been around much, and I fear it's getting worse. Did finally watch the second band video you sent. Why was the lead guitar's volume turned down so low? BTW, they getting paid to perform... at least enough to pay for gas and the night's food?
I've had a few slow/quiet NG days of late too. Been doing a fair bit of Fishing and it was my birthday on the 17th, so I spent some time with Shannon & Marty too. She shares my love of Fishing so it's always nice to spend time Fishing with her. Marty isn't so keen but he usually comes along anyway.
So you finally watched it, I hope you liked it. Not sure about the mic stuff. A couple of times during the evenings filming it went soft like that and on one of the tracks, Jim is singing back up and it's as if the mic has been turned off altogether, you can see him singing close up and loud into it but there's just nothing, it was a little strange.
They're not getting paid yet! but like I said before, they have only had about 35 to 40 hours together. They need to get at least 3 sets (of 8 to 10 songs) down pat before they can gig properly (even though they easily could right now, in my opinion) and so far they only have about 2 sets. They have been guaranteed a spot at the Hotel they played at. A regular paid weekly Friday night gig where they play a set, then they (the Hotel) have a 2 hour Karaoke session, then the band (Jerry Hat-tricks) play another set. Then a DJ finishes the night off. I reckon they will be ready in 2 maybe 3 months. Watch this space!

On a different note, I personally believe that shovelware and stolen files are more of an issue than spam.
Spam is 'almost' a thing of the past now. 'Almost'. I'm not saying it doesn't happen but compared to the 'good old days' there's very little spam nowadays. I totally agree with you in regards to Shovelware and Stolen content, they really are becoming a major problem but what's even worse is that little to nothing seems to be done about it. Sure, if myself or others in the EGB post about it in the EGB thread they get deleted but if it weren't for the few members that constantly post there, the site would be clogged to the hilt with Shovelware and Stolen Crap.

The Kitty Krew actually made a really cool flash one time called the Epilepsy Collab or something along those lines. The whole thing was like a big laser light show.
I think I remember that one. Very recently one of the Lock Legion submitted a kickass flash movie that I rate as one of the best LL movies I have ever seen. So some of these crew members do like to keep up some standards it seems.

I don't read Newspapers and I avoid everything you just spoke about. I have an, 'If I don't know about it, it can't affect me' attitude. It works well. The state of my Countries economical situation has little to no effect on my economical situation, so I find it better to ignore such matters.

0_O Yeah... saw that right after I commented. I've had premonitions and some have come true, but I'm nowhere near psychic. Nostradamus predicted a lot of shit, but most people base it off of a crappy translation done by a dandy who had ties to the Rothschild bankers.
Say any idea what the deal is with that new Russian account spamming the portal? I thought there was a 2 flash a day limit! Or does that not apply to video? Anyway, the backlog is under control and I'm gonna take it easy here for a while to get other stuff done, like enjoy all the stuff you sent :)

I can things like that in stride well enough, I'm just sick of getting shitty treatment from: the town I live in, the doctors, the lawyers... they can duck the laws and not do their jobs, but if an ordinary citizen does any of that, *cue machine gun noise, with hollow point bullets*

I hope you two have voted massively lately :| It bugs me the Portal is still jammed the fuck up, and there's university animations in there with kids looking for reviews :P Some really great stuff came in too, just really shitty timing on their part.

Unless you're on those PC's at the same time you only need one monitor.
2 PC's and 3 Laptops. Only one of the PC's has 3 screens.

I need to switch to some fibre optic broadband sometime this year, sites are starting to slow down for me, and I like to have youtube videos on my 2nd monitor (had to brag) while I browse NG.
2nd monitors are good, 3rd monitors are even better.
